Don’t Miss the Opportunity…

Desiree Hajny – Feb 21-23, 2012

NCWA is proud to bring Desiree Hajny, a nationally known woodcarver and recipient of Woodcarving Illustrator’s Woodcarver of the Year Award, to teach a 3-day class on Feb 21-23, 2012. She will be teaching how to handcarve, burn, and paint a realistic sleeping wolf. The class will run from 9:00-5:00 each day and will be hosted by Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop in Raleigh. The cost (includes materials) will be $230 for NCWA members and $260 for non-members (so you may want to join NCWA and get the benefit of a discount and of being a charter member of a great organization!) This is a fantastic price for a 3-day class by someone of this caliper. Seats are limited to 12 students, so sign up soon! A $50 deposit is required to hold your seat. Contact Michele Parsons (NCwoodcarver@yahoo.com) if you have any questions or want to sign up.
